World struggle day against diabetes

14 of november is a day of struggle against diabetes, established by the International Diabetes Federation and World Organization of health. This date is celebrated on the birthday of canadian physiologist Frederick Banting who played the main role in the discovery of insulin in 1992 – the life-saving drug for the people suffered from diabetes. This unique discovery was awarded with Nobel Prize. About 250 million of people are suffered from diabetes according to statistics and according to forecasts the number of diabetes will be doubled by 2030 year and in the next ten years the number of deaths due to this disease will highly increased.
